Brief Description

Very nice sounding and playing violin labeled C.A. Miremont 1875. This violin is unlikely to have been made by C.A Miremont. We think it is a quality made copy or an old European made instrument that has been relabelled at some point in its' history. The violin really looks like it is an old one, and the workmanship is quite good. Nice flamey maple back & sides and a solid ebony fingerboard and pegs are some of the features of this really pretty looking and great sounding violin. This instrument was owned by a long time professional violin player in the North Carolina Symphony. She told us that she used it as her back up violin. It comes with a very nice newer tailpiece and chinrest. It also includes a faux leather (how fitting) hard shell case and a newer brazilwood bow. In addition, there is a Kun shoulder rest and some fancy JADE rosin made in France. If you don't have the $20,000 dollars needed for a real one, then give this one a go and see how you like it. We have a 21-day return policy if you decide not to keep it.
